Public Opinions Project

The Global Public Opinions Project (GPOP) is an innovative comparative research initiative that unites junior and senior researchers from different countries with the main purpose to analyse the different components of public opinion.

The project introduces a unique and multi-dimensional interpretation of public opinion. Its extensive data collection scheme allows for the analysis of public opinion’s different dimensions, forms and expressions – and this across countries and through time.

The truly comparative perspective to public opinion provides a wide range of opportunities for scholars with different interests and preferences, going from very restrictive accounts of public opinion to more eclectic interpretations.
